How a simple idea became a movement.
Good Sign Movement started with a simple question: what if we could make strangers smile just by putting a bold message in our front garden?
In a world that can feel overwhelming, we noticed that the small things — a wave from a neighbour, a kind note on a windshield, a smile from a stranger — had the biggest impact on our mood and outlook.
So we decided to scale that feeling. We designed yard signs with uplifting messages and started giving them away for free. The response was electric — people wanted to be part of something positive, and they wanted to share that energy with their community.
